Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats are looking like the perfect Christmas card picture as they relax together with a large Christmas tree featuring multi coloured lights in the background. Buddy is at the front with a toy brown tree stump which has two squirrels (or possibly beavers!) poking out of holes in the stump. Gizmo is lying behind Buddy. Both boys have soft warm orange fur with white chest fur. Also behind the boys is the bottom of our feature wall which was decorated with Christmas lights and festive creatures like teddy bears and Marvin the Martin dressed as Santa!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lounging on the top plinth of his cream cat tree with a serious look on his face. He does look quite serious most of the time but it’s a Maine Coon thing - he’s actually one of the least serious cats on the planet 😹😹 His long and luscious orange fur looks as soft and floofy as always as does his snow white chest coat. Gizmo’s long white whiskers are stars of the show but today they are eclipsed by the magnificent orange tips on his right ear closest to camera - they extend about an inch from the top point of his ear and look exquisitely groomed but nobody has been near them with a brush or scissors!

The whiskers are as spectacular as always but when we’re this close the ear tips steal the show! 😸😸🦁🦁 #WhiskersWednesday #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky

All we can see of him is his big MC noggin and huge floofy tail which is wrapped round the longer edge of the box but still sticks out as it’s so big it can’t be contained! Thank you so much. It’s definitely been tough but we are so thankful to have Gizmo with us through it all - he’s a big character and coped really well with the loss of his brother and becoming the sole cat of the house 🧡🧡🦁🦁

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is enjoying a Caturday afternoon up on his cream coloured cat tree. He’s looking to the left of the picture out onto the back garden through patio doors. Brown decking and fencing can be seen in the garden along with trees outside the garden. Gizmo has one giant snow dipped paw sitting on the edge on the plinth and has narrow eyes as he observes the goings on outside - there’s likely a bird in a tree or a squirrel on a fence taking his attention! His large ears are facing forwards which I’m sure all good cat scientists will tell us means he means business and is focusing all of his keen senses on possible prey! But he’s a big softy so the creatures outside have nothing to fear!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is neatly curled up on his mum’s lap catching up on some sleep as he’s only had 12 naps so far today 😹😹 all we see of mum are a few fingers holding onto a book - she’s wearing a black hooded top so is pretty much hidden from view by that! His orange coat looks soft and warm in the evening glow and his big fluffy tail is hiding most of his face where a partially open right eye looks out at Dadmin to make sure he doesn’t disturb the nap or he’ll pay the consequences!

An early evening snooze on mum’s lap - the tail is Gizmo’s do not disturb mode setting and if you zoom in you’ll see he has one eye on me ready to take action if I breach the do not disturb zone 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
