Mum lying on the sofa covered by Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats who have decided to take up residence on her at the exact same time! Buddy is on her chest with his floofy tail dangling back over her right arm. Right in front of him is Gizmo who is covering mum’s legs. Mum is looking towards camera with her hands help up in a pretend cry for help but in reality she was absolutely over the moon!

A fun picture of mum wearing grey overalls and safety gear at Zip World just before she went on the fastest zip slide in the world on her birthday in September 2025! Her helmet is a jaunty angle and she has a big smile on her face!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is roaring like the lion he is at the top plinth of his cream coloured cat tree. The plinth is a long straight platform with raised edges at the back and each side. It’s supported by a sturdy pillar covered in rope for Gizmo to sharpen his claws! Gizmo himself is looking fiercely orange as he lies with front snow dipped paws dangling over the edge - he’s got his mouth open in a mini roar. Large sharp teeth are visible on the bottom jaw…you wouldn’t want to be on the wrong end of these! Behind Gizmo is a wall with silver square patterned wallpaper.

Gizmo is getting ready for the #Oscars by doing his MGM lion impression!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying on his side but also at the same time pretty much upside down on a grey/silver/white rug. His head is on the left with his tail and snow dipped back paws on the right. Due to the way his super flexible spine allows him to move Gizmo is almost arcing from one end to the other like a massive floofy rainbow! Except instead of the usual colours of the rainbow it’s orange with a creamy orange/white. His eyes are partially closed as he relaxes into this position which is a favourite as it allows him to fully stretch out his long Maine Coon frame!

Gizmo looks like a floofy golden marmalade rainbow in this picture except instead of a pot of gold at the end you’ve got sharp teeth and a floofy butt 😹😹

A throwback picture of Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coons causing absolute chaos in a cube cat tent toy which instead of being in the traditional tent position of upright has been absolutely mashed into the floor on its side by both cats. They are hilariously positioned in the light purple and blue cube, with Gizmo at the left opening and Buddy on the right. The inside is filled with orange and white floof. Buddy is on his side and the angle makes the confused look on his face even more funny than it already is. Gizmo looks very serious as if he’s in charge and is not happy things have gone so sideways. Fairly sure the tent never stood up straight again after this 😹😹

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is looking directly into the camera as he sits on mum’s lap. Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lounging on a grey throw which covers the back of the sofa. He’s in loaf position although one snow dipped paw is slightly visible so it’s a minor style point deduction of 0.5 today 😹😹 His always alert ears look even bigger than usual at this angle - they point up then out to be even wider than he is! His orange fur has a warm glow and the snowy white chest fur is bright against the grey of the throw.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is nestled cosily in a cream pod attached to his cat tree. Despite being 6ft in the air he’s been captured in this picture by Dadmin which has resulted in Gizmo putting on a face that says “you shouldn’t be up here, get lost” 😹😹 Secretly he loves the attention of course!

From this angle the picture is 95% orange floof with a Gizmo head at the top. And a pretty head it is too - beautiful pointy ears with amazing orange tips, gorgeous green eyes and marvellous long white whiskers!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying partially on his side on a grey/silver/white rug. His head is up and looking back to the left of the picture. At this angle we can see how long Gizmo is although he’s actually not fully stretched out and his tail is hidden from sight. His floofy belly forms about 2/3rd of his length and it’s covered in soft creamy fur that cries out to be rubbed! His front legs are stretched out beneath his chest and have snow dipped paws at the end. Gizmo is sitting on a long blue fabric cat toy which forms a loop at one of his paws and runs underneath the other leg where another loop can be seen behind his head.

Gizmo is showing off his fluffy promenade which is a 5km walking route from tail to shoulder and back again 😹😹

Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats are peering down at us from a lofty vantage point on their giant cream coloured cat tree. Both are between two rope covered pillars which support the structure (and lions) and act as scratching posts when the sofa just isn’t giving the same edge to the claws 😹😹 Buddy is resting on a plinth which is around the midpoint of the tree’s height (it’s over 6ft tall) and Gizmo is hanging over him from the top level where one of the pods they sleep in can be seen on the right. The boys themselves are a pair of orange marmalade delights…Buddy has slightly lighter orange fur than his brother but similar dark orange tabby stripes on his head. Both have snowy white chest coats and spectacular ears with orange tips.

A close up of Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat perched as comfy as he likes on a grey throw which sits on the back of the sofa. There is a warm blue hue to the picture which comes from the LED backlight on the TV which is not seen in the picture. Gizmo is looking at the TV so there may have been some interesting things like birds or gazelles catching his eye! His ears and orange tufts at the tip each ear are the real stars of this picture. The ears are almost as big as his head and with the tips extended he could probably tickle the moon! A small part of a snow dipped paw can be seen poking out from underneath his chest coat which has taken on the blue glow coming from the LED light.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying in the doorway of an upside down cardboard box which has a brown panel with green patches. The box was turned upside down and had a door cut into it to see what Gizmo did and he’s made himself quite at home! He’s in the loaf position (head up, front paws tucked away out of sight) and looks very chilled out! He’s even brought one of his toys to the party box as a pink/purple woolly toy is at his paws.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is triumphantly atop a large cardboard box which is upside down with a door cut into the green coloured side panel. This was done to create a fun play space for Gizmo to hide in and of course he’s decided the roof is better 😹😹 Gizmo covers the top of the box and he’s looking at the camera with his mouth slightly open - he was letting out excited meows to let us know what he’d done! His long fluffy orange tail hands over the left side and there’s a Superman toy in the familiar heroic red and blue colours on the right side. The box is on a grey/silver/white rug in front of a large set of glass doors looking out to the back garden.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is fast asleep on his back with his long floofy belly exposed while lying on Dadmin. A very unique shot as Gizmo usually prefers mum’s lap but also lying on his back is unusual - it’s a real sign of trust from him! His belly floof is a mixture of lighter orange and cream fur - he has both front legs pointing straight out ahead of him so we can see one giant snow dipped paw with its pink toe beans at the bottom right of the picture. Dadmin is wearing a black Deadpool and Wolverine hooded top which features the characters in their trademark red/black (Deadpool) and yellow (Wolverine) superhero uniforms.

A unique moment captured here…Gizmo is mainly a mum lap cat but he settled onto Dadmin and did this! Ultimate sign of trust laying on his back and exposing his floofy belly while sleeping.

A portrait head shot of our much missed Buddy the orange Maine Coon cat. He’s looking right into the camera and is so silky smooth he looks like he’s in soft focus. He really was the most handsome lion. His orange fur has a warm almost angelic glow about it and his snowy white chest coat is so smooth it looks like pristine snow on the mountainside. His eyes are more of an orange/green mix than just green like Gizmo. His nose is pink and he has beautiful straight white whiskers. His ears never pointed as straight up as Gizmo but they came with the famous orange tips!

Normally on #ThrowbackThursday I post a picture of the boys together but this one of Buddy stopped me in my tracks today…which was what he always did when he was here. Eternally handsome and cute…we all miss him so much 🧡🧡🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky

A close picture of a massive snow white paw with pink toe beans belonging to Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat. The main paw is side on as we look at the picture with the top four toe beans on the right side. Each bean is enveloped in soft white fur which is a feature of the breed - perfect for patrolling the snowy woods of Maine! One of his back paws is resting against it - this was taken as Gizmo lay upside down on Dadmin. In the beckgeiun on the left another full Gizmo leg is lain across Dadmin’s leg. Dadmin is wearing shorts but we can only see his knee and some of his lower right leg due to the giant cat on his lap 😹😹
