In my brand of historical fantasy, I like to use some fantastical element as a kind of lens (I imagine it like a kaleidoscope) to look at a history in a new way. Today's newsletter is about some of the personal reasons I chose to write about clairvoyants in The Tapestry of Time.

They may not be 100% polished or perfect, but they are still worth you putting in the effort to look & discover them.

So, stop letting your current skill issue stop you from enjoying art & get good & go LOOK for it.

Use Google, Yahoo, or whatever & look past the first page of results.

Do the same on YouTube, Tiktok, Blusky, Tumblr, or wherever.

Not all cameras, mics, or software are the same quality, sure, but talent can transcend limitations like these.

Also, humans love collaboration. It's literally why we have civilization.

Once you find one thing that vibes with you, you will find others.

I've had a thought about the sentiment "nothing new is coming out" regarding film & television.

I think it is a skill issue.

You're too lazy to go look for the new & interesting & unique cuz it takes work to find them.

We are not hurting for talented ppl anywhere in the world & (1/?)
