That isn’t the only use of the word. It means displays of exaggerated flattery or affection, and sometimes that can be within the context of a trauma response and directed at someone threatening… but sometimes it can just be fan enthusiasm toward someone not a threat, in a positive context.

Was pretty unhinged for art the other day - I got myself art references for this sprite the hard way, by putting on sad music, making myself cry, and getting a bunch of pics in various poses.
I’ve been working on making some of my own sprites. Popped one into a scene from #scarlethollow.
This is one of my favorite ways to tease Tabby (after she asks if this is what it’s like being high). Street Smart has some great lines. 🤣
