Does UK indie guitar music still exist? Listening to Bizarro by the Wedding Present and fondly remembering (or imagining) a time when everyone had guitars that sounded like this

I know people show a lot of love for the second album but, for me, it’s a much weaker album, barring a couple of standout songs.
