So, I recently started playing Palia, and I must say, I enjoy it. I've got some qualms with it, but it's a cute, cozy game... that I fear may never get the attention it was apparently supposed to. Figures.

A day? A week? A month?

Nothing would surprise me anymore.

Thinking about reattempting another twitch stream later tonight. Found out the other day that my internet was having connection issues due to a broken ethernet cable, so I want to experiment one more time to see if my laptop can handle it or not. 🤔

California is on fire. Again. Color me unsurprised. Thankfully, I don't live too close to LA, but damn. I had to evacuate once before due to fires, I really don't want that to happen again.

Anyone still play Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Always looking for new friends. I love to visit islands and see how people decorate/design while I continually tinker on mine.

I think, if I had to break it down in simpler terms, I like the movies, games, and cartoons from Marvel more, but I have a much stronger attachment to the DC characters, because I know more about DC characters in essence compared to Marvel's.

That's merely one man's experience, mind.

With DC films, I love the Dark Knight trilogy dearly. Those three aren't perfect, of course, but I enjoy all three of them & feel they make a solid series centered on Batman. Man of Steel is okay-ish to me. Flawed in many ways, yes, but I liked it alright. But I haven't bothered with any others.

I think the main reason I didn't see the other parts of Phase Three is due to lack of money, time, and plainly mental energy. And I haven't really bothered looking into them since, nor the other movies, or the TV shows. I don't dislike them or the ideas of them, I'm just... not interested, I guess.

As far as the live action movies, I watched most of the MCU up until... a little into Phase Three? I watched Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War, and Guardians Vol. 2, but that's it. Never had the chance to see the others, though I *do* know what happens in most of 'em.

Y'know, when it comes to Marvel & DC, I grew up watching the cartoons from both. Specifically, I grew up with X-Men, X-Men Evolution, Animated Spider-Man (w/Ben Barnes as Spidey's voice), along with Animated Batman, Batman Beyond, both iterations of Justice League, Static Shock, and Teen Titans.

Might as well do a Round 2 for #promosky to see if I can find more friends since it's a new year, yeah?
