Good listen this.
Again.
Except the discussion around talking French. Donβt know how Chris manages to not go postal.

A Squirrel observing the world.
Good listen this.

Honestly donβt know where to start with this.
The horrific pronunciations that could cause a war with the French.
Or those bins.
How very dare youβ¦.
22.10.2025 17:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Problem with Grunge was that most of the bands werenβt even grunge (in fact what is grunge?).
The βGrungeβ big 4 bands of Soundgarden & Alice In Chains were never anything other than pure metal bands (Sabbath Metal not that 80βs shite ;-) ) PJ were 70βs rock, and Nirvana were punk.
Arsenal?
18.10.2025 20:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Been the same. For me this season feels not just transitional, but a season for giving space for reflection on loss. Jota will be the main focus of that, but the club has also dealt with the loss of Matt Beard. Shankly was wrong all those years ago. Football, just isnβt that important.
11.10.2025 07:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My new piece for The Guardian. Iβve deeply enjoyed watching and covering this Inter Miami era in Fort Lauderdale, but itβs coming to an end. Theyβre going to Miami proper next year.
09.10.2025 12:18 β π 4 π 2 π¬ 0 π 1Thereβs little glimpses of what could be, but today was the first game Iβve been a little worried. Frustrated, yes. Salah seems to have gone full Fabinho (not Sunday roast dinner but quality drop off)
Itβll come together and when we won the league 19/20 the drop off was worse the following season
The golf has been nothing short of spectacular this weekend.
American Ryder Cup fans really are one of the worst. Up there with Arsenalβs.
Iβve not listened to this yet. But I will be later.
Sounded shite on the radio, and I imagine Chris and Dave will be honest about the poor performance. As they always are.
Best LFC pod around.
To be honest, I reckon if I was at Glasto or somehow ended up one of their gigs, Iβd really enjoy it. Looks a good time to be fair.

I was just about to type all sorts here and then you mentioned your Mum.
Bastard.
I donβt think they canβt afford afford to sack him and are waiting for him to quit.
*watch me get proved wrong in about 4 weeks.
Saturday morning reading on Always Liverpool. On Liverpoolβs bumpy but somehow unscathed start to the season. Big one tomorrow!

Thatβll ding dang for me.
21.08.2025 10:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve got to say these live performances of βHail To The Thiefβ are ace.
βSail To The Moonβ is gorgeous.
@whatismusicpod.bsky.social are you going to be doing an episode on this release?
Not yet. Kids have had me up the wall with their shit music over the school holidays.
It is on my to-do list though.
New on Always Liverpool: In praise of Hugo's thrilling debut for the Reds and some other Charity Shield musings. Subs and shares greatly appreciated. alwaysliverpool.substack.com/p/where-hugo...
