I know exactly what you mean, having been the past few years. My hope is that as long as we can celebrate each others' successes, console each other on our failures, and offer our knowledge to each other, we can at least hold those sorts of things at bay.

Because I think if I were to do that, I'd lose my humanity. So much evil has been done in the world for the sake of making as many sales as possible, you know? Seeing people mainly as walking sources of money is kinda messed up and evil.

Anyway, back to game development and marketing!

There's a melancholy mood about me tonight. I can't help but think about how so many of us are trying to sell something, whether that's a product or ourselves. I don't like the feeling in the back of my mind where any interaction could be an opportunity for business or promotion.

I'm not a fan of shoot em ups, but I've really enjoyed Giannis' work for the past while, so I absolutely had to try the game. I've made it to stage 4 so far, and it's been a tough fight! I've had a good time so far and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the story unfold.

Why not one of the colored number pellets? If it's a big one, it could have the "carrying" numbers over it as a fun visual gag
