Peace pendants were a national fad here in USA in 1969, everyone it seemed on the school playground had one.
The fad reached Vietnam, below is a pic of a U.S. Marine wearing one in 1969 ⬇️
Some time later, school classmates wore POW/MIA bracelets. A student in my homeroom, his father was a POW.
After all these years, still have my peace pendant from Spring 1969 ⬇️
At the time, my teen Marine cousin was serving in Vietnam.
