Also, my understanding is that the 10% you describe is when using certain couriers, but NOT Royal Mail. With RM a much larger tarriff is looking likely...
From the information I can gather it looks like books might be exempt... but with Edgelands I sell lots of other things too so it's easiest just to cease US trading for now...
