my grandparents are in their late 60s early 70s. my grandma can sew a dress, tailor a pair of pants, paint the walls and trim in a room like a professional. my grandfather can BUILD A HOUSE, repair virtually anything that’s broken, fix a car. We can’t do any of that shit y’all 😭

hot take but i think the boomer generation gets a little too much hate. they have some important values, like learning domestic hands on skills, hard work, timely communication, dependability. idk we could learn a thing or two from them, honestly
