In the wake of what Judge Dugan did (100% legal), now is a good time for everyone to know what she knows:
An immigration or administrative warrant is *not* a judicial warrant. You are not obliged to obey it. Indeed, you can let the person out the back door. docs.google.com/presentation...
This is what scares me. The weapons grade tsunami of #CdnDisinfo & propaganda unleashed against #MarkCarney, from 🇷🇺🇨🇳🇺🇸🇮🇳, has been an attack on 🇨🇦’s democracy, without most people even realizing it.
Constant talk of MC winning, may make people complacent & think they don’t have to vote. #StopPoilievre
Amid the election noise I missed this:
Rachel posted this a day a go, it hit r/Fauxmoi and since then Jamroz appears to have stepped down from ROM already.
We have got to make it unpalatable for anyone to be part of this travesty.
This country is becoming unrecognizable. What we’re seeing is state-funded fear. We’ve warned people: keep filming, go live on social media so these moments are documented and shared. This wasn’t a case involving masked ICE agents—but that’s happening too.
I am once again begging people to realize that the law is words on paper and is not self executing.
"That's illegal" is not and has never been synonymous with "that's impossible" or "that can't be done."
"That's illegal" means "you might get in trouble for that depending on who you are."
Stick a fork in the rule of law; she done.
“.. judging only from price action, we are suddenly witnessing a comprehensive turn away from US assets (stocks, USTs, corporate credit and the dollar). this is the single most important theme to monitor over coming weeks. .. for the moment capital is flowing out of the US.”

Yep. Trump isn't the only one with a disordered personality; I would say that describes a lot of the people who voted for him. It's the only way I can fathom why they vote against their best interest and are unable to see the facts in front of their face.
Oh look, they managed to fix the date on this time!
Turns out Ireland could single-handedly put a stop to this entire nonsense.
“What did they expect?” is kind of a misleading question.
The people who supported them didn’t expect something very specific. They expected to own the libs. They expected people they resented to suffer. The expected the world to burn. It wasn’t about specifics.

It sure looks like they’re going all in on the “the executive branch can ignore court orders if it thinks the court lacks jurisdiction” thing
BREAKING: Md federal Judge Paula Xinis GRANTS preliminary injunction, rules from the bench that Kilmar Abrego Garcia was apprehended "without legal basis" and removed to El Salvador illegally, "without any legal process." He's to be returned to the U.S. by 11:59 on Monday, 4/7.
my reflexive need to respond with "i'm doing great, how are you?" when I really don't care to inquire at all is my daily undoing.
Don’t forget bigoted, too.
People have been digging up old tweets.

Some knew, but so many didn’t or couldn’t see. I think the question is how - like Brexit - so many were successfully persuaded to vote for the face-eating leopards.
See also the conservative voters in Canada now.
It has made reading speculative fiction much less fun for sure.

Cory Booker about to explain his favourite Severance season 3 theory any moment now. Or maybe Choreography and Merriment will take to the Senate floor.
People have been talking for years about the 4 chan to mainstream culture pipeline and this is what was always going to be the end state.
I thought he was one of the smart ones. Apparently, nope.
