My bipartisan proposal with Rep. Sharon Ray will strengthen spay/neuter programs at Ohio’s over-burdened and under-resourced animal shelters and humane societies by giving Ohioans the option to donate part (or all) of their state tax refund to the Ohio Pet Fund. 🐾

Unregulated “crisis pregnancy centers” operated by opponents of abortion rights receive millions in state funding. Rep. Anita Somani, MD and I have introduced H.B. 245 to establish actual standards for these operations and ensure a certain quality of care for Ohioans lured in.
