Isn’t “Epic Escort” Melania’s secret service code name?
Solar farms could increase global crop yields by hundreds of billions of pounds, thanks to the protective microclimate created beneath their panels.

On discourse about trans people’s right to access to accurate ID, I’d like to remind that the EU’s top court, using data protection’s most fundamental principles, has declared that someone’s “lived gender identity” is what must be recorded to describe them.

I’m looking for speakers for a London event on the science of Star Trek. I’d really appreciate suggestions from underrepresented minorities in STEM, especially PoC/global majority.

"you need to learn how to use gAI or you'll get left behind!"

the absolute fastest way to render yourself unemployable is to build your skillset around a tool that does your thinking for you, that everyone has access to, and that one company can change or take away at any time
As I get ready for #DataLeaderSummit in #Wexford in 2 weeks, and after outages on login for Claude.ai recently, I'm thinking a bit about business continuity and recovery when humans become dependent on (or replaced by) AI/GenAI As ever, comedy has a metaphor.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8dZ...

So… these guys were assessing risk for a living and didn’t think there might be a risk of a hot war in a general region known for its hotness and warness?
Amen to that.
A teacher present give me unforgettable feedback: I had wasted time with irrelevant background information instead of making the student memorise the lesson.
It made immediately clear why the kids were not doing well in science if the only thing asked of them was memorising stuff
The real threat to democracy doesn't come from 'family voting'. It comes from the losing side refusing go accept they've lost
Ah. So now they have figured out that a SCIF is not a type of small boat.
At long last.
Ghana will update its current data protection law in 2026, joining Argentina, Mexico, and Zimbabwe.
Bruce Wayne just started buying up companies engaging in fraud and firing the bad ‘uns in management.
When they descend to violent street crime to maintain their lifestyles, Bruce gets his Bat back on.
“AI tools are making potentially harmful errors in social work records, from bogus warnings of suicidal ideation to simple “gibberish”, frontline workers have said” <who the hell assessed these tools & the risks from using them?
