My parents had one when I was very young and what I remember is crawling into their bed as a sick toddler and trying to wedge myself next to the wooden side and "not move" so that I wouldn't slosh my parents awake.

Trying to sleep on one of those with another person in bed? Insanity.

My professor is getting a hard copy of the PPT and a link to a recorded Teams Meeting version of the presentation. 😬🤷‍♀️

Well, trying to record the narration for my final presentationd was a disaster because I:

a) only have Office 365/web versions of PPT on the Chromebook I use for schoolwork
b) only have PPT narration tools on my work laptop
c) am restricted from sending large files via work email

It never ceases to amaze me how much more productive and focused I am in the morning vs the afternoon/evening.

I spent five hours yesterday wrestling with half my PPT presentation; I have accomplished at least twice as much in 90 minutes this morning.

I can see the finish line!

I did the little homework assignment first. Now I have to tackle the "narrated powerpoint" version of the research project I worked on last month.

Hello, it is homework day. Am I excited about homework? No. Does the homework care whether or not I'm excited about it? No.

I'm stumped. I've boiled water in that same pan within the past day or two.

New weird first: First time dousing the flame on a gas burner with the gas on whilst attempting to boil water in a pan that has suddenly acquired a mystery pinhole.

I'm not sure how one gets a tiny hole through the bottom of a pan. Did I burn a hole through a metal pan? Is that even a thing?

My work week has been awful (hair-on-fire busy awful). I am bringing home an impossible mountain of work-work and school work that needs to be finished this weekend.
