I totally forgot about it on Day 1 so here's Day 1, a day late: truffle cheese (very truffline but not unpleasant), the sea-shell had a whole hazelnut inside, and the wine was lovely but truly I can't have this much wine every day in December.

in early November I made the (in hindsight) fairly deranged choice to buy all three Aldi advent calendars: cheese, candy, and wine, meant to "pair." Please enjoy this thread of reasonable-sized chocolates and cheese and far too large glasses of wine.
