Every time I log into Instagram after a bit and see 30+ reels in my messages I remember why I stopped using it.

The threes were falling like never before. It was magical.

I’ve been cooking more and have been trying to use the Instant Pot we were given. Some of these recipes are crazy. Sauté things in the pot, remove them, sauté something else, put in a trivet, put a pan on top with ingredients.

People, the range is right there. I see it in your recipe photos.

It wasn’t until grad school that I got to engage with learning on commercial music, music tech, music philosophy, and world music. I enjoy all of these things much, much more than spending months on a marimba piece which is required because I also play drum set.

All you people doing the fun five classes in college thing but as a music performance major it was basically five years of just playing music solo, playing music together, talking about music, and listening to music. I often think about how much time was invested in something I do so little now.

That’s fantastic. I had a moment of panic that the 90 minutes of screen capture video I did would have to be re-filmed. Lol

As someone who must teach a unit on MainStage in a couple of weeks, are there any significant UI tweaks or anything you saw that would cause a need to change instructional materials/assignments?

This guy is a beast. Insane chops and accuracy while beating the drums like they owe him… On top of singing all of the clean vocals for his band. I love his drumming on their 2025 track Devil but couldn’t find a good drum cam for it.

Bought a new amp and cabinet this week because I want to have sick guitar tones while playing the soundtrack of the world going down in flames.

The finale was an excellent end to the series even though the fifth season as a whole was kind of uneven.

I feel like this happens in every fandom when people wait a long time for something and start thinking about what the ending *could* be. They become mad the creators didn’t read their fanfic.

That new Anika Nilles ride cymbal sounds great and looks very cool, but paying more money for a cymbal than the cost of a new Yamaha Stage Custom kit is bananas. Cymbal companies need to rein it in a bit. You can get professional synths, guitars, and basses for less money.
