You're right, that character not being Xalatath seems unlikely as an example, but there COULD be other things she carefully weaves her little story around. Here's hopin!

..happened and what part she might've played in it. Could get interesting, could get fumbled. But I choose to remain optimistic for my own enjoyment's sake!

.."I was a mortal" so the character we and Salhadaar are shown wouldnt HAVE TO be her. She never says "the void destroyed my world" she just said her world was destroyed and hatred and void washed over her yadda yadda (I should have rewatched it before writing this maybe) so who knows what...

I feel from a meta narrative perspective they wouldn't just bring all this up for it just to have been all made up -

What I CAN imagine is her being tricksy about what it means (and the most obvious interpretations maybe being false). e.g. she never says "i was a bald lil girl" she just says....

sometimes what worked for me was trying to find a place where it fits (sometimes halfway hanging inside a wall or whatever) and manually moving it over to where I wanted it in the first place via advanced mode

my main Rhumi is a dark iron dwarf! She is a beastmaster with a special connection to all the creepy crawlies deep within the mountain. I also have a wildhammer DK and an overgrown Earthen shaman but I dont really RP those or anything really

And when the one prominent lore character is weird to me it hurts the whole race I guess! But, like I said, still fun, most "minor" Gnome NPCs I like

forgiving fellas who wouldnt necessarily hold it against Gelbin, but not holding it against him and getting rid of their High Tinker elections because he's just so swell and they want to have him as their king forever are two different beasts.
