Probably would have preferred Wunmi but got a kick out of explaining to my wife the wayward timeline we live in with the WKUK/Oscar connection.

Oh shit, the raiders forgot to say “no backsies”. The onus is clearly on them.

This Crosby situation is the equivalence of agreeing to a fantasy trade in DMs and then when the offer is sent over you get a “man, I’m just not sure I can do it.”

Bad form.

I do think flood the zone is a legitimate tactic being embraced but this is probably more correct than not.

1. A #measles & #flu update.
We're only 9 weeks into the year & the total confirmed measles cases so far puts makes 2026 the second worst year for measles in the past 34 years.
The worst year was last year. But in merely 9 weeks, 2026 has recorded 56% of the entire 2025 total.
Gonna be a bad year.

Today's kids don't understand how big of a deal Lou Holtz and Mark May debating at midnight to Rece Davis in judge robes was to my generation.

Who exactly does Cornyn think he is in this comparison? 😂

I voted for Talarico in the primary but would easily have rallied behind Crockett. This messaging is exactly my sentiment. Thankful to see it this morning when I know emotions are still high.

Let me tell you, I was so excited to vote for Talarico last week. Really solid turnout from what I've seen so far and from multiple accounts from friends and fam across NTX.

One of the reasons I cannot foresee myself taking a non-remote job ever again: grilling on your lunch break.

Steak for lunch today was a heavy hitter.

I’m telling you, this is stage 4 of media capture.

(The four stages:
1. Weaponize the regulator ✅
2. Leverage public money ✅
3. Weaken public media ✅
4. Have rich oligarch friends buy up private media ☑️)

Kings Start Wars. Christians Stop Them The violence Trump has unleashed in Iran ignores what the prophets teach: War is more effective at creating orphans and widows than in delivering justice and peace.

new from me: “War kills people. That’s what it does. War kills and maims and rapes and, over the whole course of history, has proven to be far more effective at creating orphans and widows than in delivering justice and peace.”

CHARLIE BROWN (VO): Here's the brave Vietnam War flying ace, heading to carpet the jungles with toxic chemical agents.

"Fortunate Son" rises on the soundtrack. Snoopy, in aviator sunglasses, climbs atop his doghouse.

This is exactly right. The Onion quietly left Twitter a month ago and... our weekly subscribers went up. It's because we're doing well here, on Instagram and on YouTube.

As a business, being on Twitter is somewhere between useless or detrimental, unless you're selling boner pills.

Re-watching The Office and Friday Night Lights and pretending it’s 20 years ago.

Also FNL has a perfect pilot. One of the best of all-time.

I must be a masochist. I’ve started a re-watch of the 2025 Penn State Football Season.

I have my beliefs on where/why this season went sideways. But I want to watch it again with perspective.

Hoping to find somewhere to watch as much 2025 Iowa State as I can as well.

Current discussion in slack:

In #DynastyFF, J.J. McCarthy or Matt Stafford?

I think JJ's gotten to a point where he's officially too cheap. In probably 85% of leagues/situations I would prefer JJ on the off-chance he rebounds.

He'll get competition and he's risky, but he's 23.

Pate lost the plot. I never really listened to him but as a perhaps the most mainstream CFB talking head it’s phenomenally disappointing. Like, tf?

5.03 - Jordan Dwyer - WR - TCU
6.10 - Adam Mohamed - RB - Cal
7.03 - Jayce Brown - WR - LSU
8.10 - Ryan Wingo - WR - Texas
9.03 - Josh Hoover - QB - Indiana

WR is indeed murky this season but feel great about my first 3 WRs all being volume monsters. Brown/Wingo both high upside shots. Great start.

First #CFF (College Fantasy Football) draft of the season is shaping up wonderfully. I'm picking from the 1.03 and have started pretty ideally:

1.03 - Kewan Lacy - RB - Ole Miss
2.10 - Isaac Brown - RB - Louisville
3.03 - K.J. Duff - WR - Rutgers
4.10 - Pofele Ashlock - WR - Hawaii
