People might bring up Vincent van Gogh as an example of a painter who did great work in spite of, or because of, his suffering. Had a dream last night that me and @paultremblay.bsky.social went to visit David Lynch. David was wearing this huge black puffer jacket and smoking and I kept worrying he’d burn his jacket. Then it snowed and Paul and I wished we had worn coats. Why does my brain?
