Yes, I am interested in the show with Jamie Bell and buff Richard Gadd
I do feel like F1 making it into Picture is what pushes me to predict it. Plus winning BAFTA and CAS is typically a good combo.
Been having a feeling that Sinners may upset in Best Sound. It would be very deserving if it did but also would make me question why it was necessary to give F1 that Best Picture nomination if it’s not going to win this award.
Tobey’s Spider-Man was very important to twelve-year-old me.
Have listened to so many people give their Oscar predictions, and not one of them have provided any help with Best Supporting Actress.
Came across these Dave Franco pics and felt compelled to share
That's usually been what I've done in the past. But Taylor and Mosaku are both in equally strong movies. The latter has BAFTA but the former's movie is the Best Picture frontrunner.
That category was messed up because of that. And Madigan wasn’t even nominated at BAFTA, which seems like a red flag. I’m so torn up about this category.
Gotta be honest that predicting Madigan still doesn’t feel quite right. Going with a lone nominee that’s not a sweeper goes against every bedrock principle I’ve ever used in predictions. But it’s hard to choose between Taylor and Mosaku. I’m still very torn about this.
Sinners is my spoiler but I think most will default to Avatar.
I get a feeling about it. It’s the most broadly appealing, and the cute one with animals has a long history of winning.
I don’t really have a NGNG Oscar prediction this year, so the closest will probably be going out on a limb in Animated Short (as much as one can in the shorts) with Forevergreen.
Speechless
Undertone: The scariest movie ever made that will play at sleepovers for ten year olds that just discovered creepypasta videos on YouTube.
Michael Angarano appreciation post
The movie wasn’t great. As for AW, I’m not the one who makes the schedule and sometimes it can shift. But maybe there could be an announcement at least for the next year to cover. I’ll see about suggesting it.
Same
Hot indeed
Very much so.
Finally caught up with How to Make a Killing, and the hottest person in the cast wasn’t Glen Powell, it was Zach Woods.
Anybody know of a place that's fun, exciting, totally confidential and alway free to join?
To let you know what a fun guy I am, my evening plans are to have an edible and watch a 90min YouTube video ranking all the Metra stops in the Chicagoland area.
Rooting for the hot firefighter running for Congress in Montana.
PROJECT HAIL MARY is such a wonderfully entertaining ride that also manages to convey genuine emotion. Gosling is endearing, and Rocky is such a compelling character on his own. Sandra Hüller’s deadpan German delivery was delightful. Impressive crafts and a captivating effort.
Got quoted in the trailer for Silent Friend, the best film I saw at last year’s Venice Film Festival. Pretty nice, and I hope people check out this exceptional movie.
Congratulations!
THE BRIDE does have some bold choices in style that are intriguing, but a hollow romance and dull pacing makes the narrative devoid of any sustainable impact. Buckley and Bale are talented but never compatible. Gyllenhaal’s vision is cluttered, messy and mostly disengaged.
Post-SAG thoughts:
-Kinda feels done for Penn. Maybe Lindo can spoil, but I'm not betting on it.
-Jordan makes total sense at SAG, but not sure he wins Oscar. But Chalamet feels weaker. Maybe a Moura shocker? It's a race
-No idea what to do with Supporting Actress between Taylor, Madigan and Mosaku
Dear god
