How are *elected dems* fighting fascism?
My allies fight fascism. Dems by and large have not done so. Instead, they've fallen right in line and helped it take root, which is, again, why they aren't my allies.
They are trump's allies, not mine. They vote with and support him instead of fighting him. They said he was a fascist (he is), yet they keep voting with him.
You've bought into so much bullshit and are now trying to get other people to eat or up too. Elected dems won't use the power they have. Further, they help trump by voting for his nominees and legislation. They should have fought trump tooth and nail every step of the way, but haven't.
This was me. I decided that since she was going to win my state i would vote 3rd party, and then i voted dem down the ballot. However, those dems have supported trump at such rediculously high rates that i now regret voting for them.
really does feel like “I will personally destroy this twerp’s life” would be a unifying electoral strategy
prosecute DOGE top to bottom tbh
Meant to add that the glasses thing isn't the issue. It's clyburn, those like him, and their entitlement.
Clyburn continuing to work after 65 is an indictment of him and his entire cohort. What the fuck is wrong with these people that they weren't itching to retire as soon a possible to devote themselves to hobbies and community service?
Most americans didn't give a shit or denied when we did the same to Palestinians. It should be no surprise that trump us repeating this tactic--it worked before because both liberals and conservatives worked together to achieve genocide. It seems much the same will happen here.
My mom loved this fucker in 1992 and even went to a really our two. I should've figured her out then, not when she let all loose with her support for trump.
I've said for a long time that adults in the room are bad. They've sliced away at their morality and judgement for years through bribes or other persuasion. Please put children in the room. They know better, would instantly identify trump for who/what he is, and act accordingly.
That he made choices about what to cover and how to cover it with this hole in his understanding is also a factor he will never understand.
This is a grotesque, bullshit argument and you should feel real bad for daring to make it.
This is the bullshit my dem rep comes up with. No plans to impeach and also taking a moment to valorize huge piece of shit John McCain, which also helps explain why they're useless: no fucking discernment. Good and bad things are the same to these assholes.
If John McCain it's your hero, that says so much about you. He was an awful, awful man whose legacy dems need to revisit and be honest about. He's universally valorized, but he an awful rightwing piece of shit, just like any other R.
We don't give a shit about your unanswered questions. We don't want this fucking war! You're an absolute ghoul who is thrilled to murder children and brown people so you come up with bullshit like this about trump not getting your fucking permission, while you plan to give him money to keep killing.
Your reply is hidden because of course it is.
So are you going to fucking impeach him already??
You did this. Blood is on your hands because you've helped him get to this point. You need to show some moral fortitude and work to undo the destruction and devastation you've wrought (difficulty: impossible).
I'd like you to do your fucking job and deal with the fascist in the white house instead of helping him, but that seems to go against your delicate sensibilities.
Should,damnit.
This man shod be alive and well with his family. Abolish ICE.
What I'm thinking about is that this exact confusion is still there 15 years on. Polling could've played a role in solving the misinformation crisis.
I think pollsters should write good poll questions that don't use jargon or unclear terms or explain terms, if needed.
Of course you're right. That was 15 years ago, though, and they're people still don't know they're the same. Maybe having that info isn't enough and educating people would be helpful.
He and Newsom (as well as a lot of others) need to retire from public life forever, not float presidential bids.
I can see how that would come about, but i think in cases like that, it's malpractice not to inform them that they hate and love the same thing. We're in this mess in part because people have decided what they get to believe.
Right, but why? So we can laugh at those idiots? Is that useful? I think it would be a lot better to define terms/educate rather than use terms a lot of people don't understand. Then we'd at last be comparing apples with apples.
This is my question about polls like that, though. What are they trying to guage? Are they trying to figure out if people like the ACA/obamacare or if people know they're the same? And to what end?
I don't see any indication you're rehashing an old discussion in the bit I can read. I also wonder about your phrasing. "Gender affirming care" is a boogeyman in certain arenas and other people night not know what it means. Do you think using that phrase is equal to "doctor recommended treatment"?
