To me, the two are distinct.

In my personal practice, Persephone arrived first, and I drew Her as such. As time and learning went on, Proserpina was much deeper, more hidden. So I drew Her, too.

Garden of the Daeva, Galvantian Gates

Originally drawn as a study with a friend while she streamed her amazing painted version, this ended up becoming the gated entrance to the Prime Daevas' Garden on Galvanti, indicated by the glowing runes on the arch, representative of the continent.

Definitely inspired by the deity/spirit of the same name, in Mriounuria, they are a whole species.

Working on one of three images I saw in my meditation over a year ago now. The meditation was a meeting with Aphrodite, however, what I saw was a Venusian Aphrodite, an Astarte, and an amalgamation of the two...as Venus-Astarte.

She represents that sometimes the truth isn’t all that pleasant, and that there are very hard truths that may feel painful and make us want to avoid it all together. Brutal honesty. Raw realness. And it’s only going to keep getting brighter unless you face it.

She is one of my favorite pieces I’ve worked on to date, and I am beyond excited to include her in the deck that I’ve been steadily working on.

Nayyir the Dreamer is the Hallowed Seeker--the Seeker of the Heart. In her hands she cups the Hallow Heart Spark, and she moves to share this with those she meets on her path.

Her name is Nayyir. She is a gentle soul.

When I first drew her, she felt like Hope. That's all I could think about and feel, and that echoed within her card's message in the deck, as well as other areas of my life. I drew and colored her by hand first, then uploaded to my Autodesk app and recolored her.

It occurred to me some time ago that I have yet to see any melanin Thumbelina art out in there world. So, I made my own.
