Yeah, guy's a jerk-off, was trying to adda useful point to this. Criminologists I've spoken to have suggested this is also part of homicide drop: at a certain point, it has to trend down. We need to be serious about the callous neglect by the same people now taking credit for downward trends.

this guy's a jerk off but there's a strong argument that at least part of the decline is because the scope of overdose death has been so devastating for so long; but the takeaway from that is "the city ignored this for so long, killing so many people in the process that it eventually had to decline"

hi from Minneapolis. these folks are catastrophically overthinking it; the immediate need when agents hit a block is for people that speak *any* language to know it's not safe to go out. that need is far more pressing than whatever this infantilizing "actually it's racist to make noise" shit is.

If someone is willing to toss away her Nobel Peace Prize to get closer to her real goal of doing a mafia bust-out against her own country on behalf of international finance capital, I think that's revealing of how much they actually value 'peace' and the values these prizes actually exist to reward.
