Why did the devs set the render distance and LOD so low? I know other parts of the server need more resources to render than the midwest but this is basically unplayable.

Clearly the solution is to switch to Linux. We have no such problems...only because ours are much more esoteric. Like, I dunno, the system forgetting what kernel version is installed, trying to boot from the wrong one, crashing to an emergency shell, and making you manually fix it. That was fun.

Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. For now I mostly use Krita when I need to actually annotate an image and leave Gimp to the editing/retouching that are its bread and butter.

Probably for no other reason than they're two of the most iconic and widely-recognizable characters ever put to the screen. The wider the appeal, the more clicks they can draw in. It sucks but it's the same reason the Elsa/Spider-man stuff happened.
