Stupid/bleak concept inspired by the Crimson Guard reveal today: Cobra preying on trans people to drive Siegie recruitment.
"Oh, yeah, we can pay for your top surgery no problem. We'll even do facial reconstruction! Just one thing: how do you feel about the name Fred?"

Would be cool to get a Cyberworld panel at TFN 2026, I hadn't realised that most of the cast and crew were UK-based!

TBH, I think there's a degree to which the war for What Transformers Looks Like ended in the late '10s, and now everything aimed at adults will look G1 and everything aimed at kids will look evergreen, and we all just kinda have to make peace with it.

Flashing back to all the insane shit people were throwing around about Ruckley after that Brainstorm death at the start of IDW2, TBH.

The Beano kids are investigating the haunted Pizza shop in this week's Beano.

The Pizza shop on Hobbs lane.

Because if there's one thing kids love it's references to Quatermass and the Pit.

I don't think they're stripping it out of the normal subscription, are they? I've just taken a look on my parents' account, and it looks like they just renamed the "Star" tile to say Hulu instead, all the same stuff is still there.

I think it's supposed to be a Cybertronian-mode version of his Legacy toy, judging by the design art.

It terrifies me to know that several human beings are going to look at their Friday Night, one of a finite amount of Friday nights you will ever experience, and decide to go see Tron: Ares

Black and white illustration with gray shading of a humanoid robot. He has a burly build, with a thick trunk made up of the front section of a wrecker truck. Flame decals adorn his abdomen/hood, where a Decepticon symbol is centered. He holds a chained morning star-type weapon in his burly hands. His ankles have large tires on them. His helmet is studded with round lenses and a slit for his eyes, and his face is behind a mask.

#botaday RM-04: Wrecker Hook. The Japanese name of Tow-Line, a character in the RID line that redecoed a design from Machine Wars. This version, released in Japan in 2004 as part of the RobotMasters line, is now redecoed as a Decepticon. Wrecker Hook transforms into a Kenworth W900 wrecker truck.

You've sort of got to feel a little bad for Emiliano Santalucia that one of his most visible and long-lasting contributions to TF has wound up being a set of designs now synonymous with, like, dogshit licensed fragrances and Official Collabs with sports gambling apps or whatever.

See honestly, if you commissioned Guidi or someone to do nice new art of this moment and put *that* on your Transformers protein powder tub, it'd go *some* way to making it feel like a fun product that somebody put thought into and not joyless Brand Slop, but obv. just it's the evergreen brand kit.

who act as if it was made in space by nobody and reflects nothing, or indeed nerd demiurge theorists who act as if there is a "true" version of the story blocked off by evil makers putting in unnecessary drama or sex scenes

I worry that more people than we realise don't care who made something!

one thing that sticks with me in relation to the point of "people will never fully accept AI generated media as a replacement for human-made stuff" is the overwhelming prevalence of people in nerd spaces who act as if their favourite game, anime or whatever (especially non-English media)>

I think it's funnier that someone got this signed by the original Turtles.

The error's not coming off the phone number box, is it? I've had that before - you have to manually select a country for it from a dropdown but the UI design sucks and it's not clear you have to do that.
