Crazy. We could just decide to stick to platforms released in 1985 or earlier (to get the Amiga & Atari ST too), and we'd still have way too many new games to feasibly play them all. And so many of them are so good!
Nice, that's some great PETSCII art!
It's amazing to me that we're just over two months into 2026, and the Lemon64 database already features 25 Commodore 64 games released this year.
World1 15.08.2010 vs 05.03.2026
The amount of people saying console exclusives are good actually in that thread blows my mind.
I suspect we actually see the scenes as they were being drawn by the artists, which is quite fascinating. Especially on the more complex scenes, where you see them gradually filling in the details.
There's a command you can use to slow down the drawing much more (probably a debugging thing they forgot to disable, it's not available in later versions), which is even more satisfying to watch:
Kind of an odd story, is it old or something? Published in february 2026 yet refers to something that happened in 2023 as a future event...
This looks great! I can imagine the game fitting the handheld format very well.
Best of luck with the release! :)
Yes, but let's focus on things that might actually happen and not fantasy land stuff...
It was such a nice surprise to see that site. It's going to be an incredibly nice resource to have, I think.
Post a pic or video you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.
I don't think so. I don't exactly know what the American version did, but the disk version I've seen loaded that music first and then you'd press the fire button to load the actual level.
This is still one of my favourite pieces of Commodore 64 music. It's almost haunting (and yes, it might remind you of a certain movie theme that's just as haunting, but that one is far newer).
Ah, a new video from @8bitshowandtell.bsky.social . I am looking forward to being baffled.
Roguecraft DX on my A1200. YASD.
Excellent game. Here's my copy. :)
A port of 'Splat!' was released for the SAM Coupe at the end of 1991. Expanded with extra landscapes and a stonking soundtrack. Fun, but challenging.
I think you just saved Xbox.
That's great to hear! It's a lovely game.
And it's been a very long time coming with many problems and delays along the way but the English version for the MZ-700's physical release is really not very far off now :) Artwork is nearly complete but this has been very difficult to get over the finish line. So glad it won't be much longer now.
My brother's Aquila bird flight simulator is having a V2 upgrade. Here's a first look. Some stunning visuals here.

Wow, nå er det kanskje den sprøeste fun facten jeg vet om også.

Yes, it's not a remaster but the original game running in ScummVM.
I still found it an interesting and fascinating experience (as a new player). Published my review today (in Norwegian).
Your daily reminder that the Amiga 500 came out in 1987.
Happy 35th #Lemmings anniversary!
Who'd have thought, 35 years later we'd still be talking about these little guys.

Ikke for min del, egentlig. Hjelper veldig at sendingene er til fornuftige tider.
Two pretty cool logos. Guess the game...
