Rewatching ST Discovery Season 3. Episode when Philippa Georgiou meets Carl, the Guardian of Forever, and crosses the threshold to the Mirror Universe.
Carl makes me think a lot of Jenkins, in the Librarians.

Worked hard over the last days to sew a mid-18th Century corset, totally boned (86!!!). Made with a slightly modified JPRyan sewing pattern, partly sewn by machine and partly by hand. Made of linen, with buckram interlining. Made it with front lacing because chambermaids are pretty hard to find.

Rewatching Star Trek TNG episode "Half a Life" with the amazing David Ogden Stiers and Majel Barrett.
I'll be 60 next year.

I rewatched tonight Star Trek Discovery. I love that show so much...
I hope to see as many of the original actors as guest stars in the upcoming series Star Trek Academy.
They are all dear to my heart.

These scenes show how strong she is. Personally, if my own son was suddenly disappearing, I'd lose my mind completely. She kept her wits, was still able to think and to try and find a solution. That's bravery.

I was wondering if the reference to the "ley lines" was a wink to The Librarians, since Rebecca Romijn plays amazing characters in both series and Lindy Booth played a character as guest star in the first season.

OMG! It's been a long time since I laughed outloud like this, until my ribcage hurted. Tonight's Strange New Worlds was hilarious. I don't care if it's canon or not, or if Gene Roddenberry would have approved the episode. It was funny like hell and I enjoyed it!!! Superb performance of the actors!

I watch Star Trek in English, with the English subtitles. It helps me follow the dialogue. Last week, I noticed that in Voyager, when the Doctor speaks, the person in charge of the subtitles identifies him as "Zimmerman". Just like in TNG, when O'Brien is already identified on the first episode.

Japanese language is so melodious. Characters seem to be singing instead of speaking. Maybe that's the original Rhapsody...

In 2012 I was stage costume maker for the Canadian Hommage to Rammstein. I made them a few costumes and went to see them at the Sullivan Hall in New York. After the show, we strolled the streets of the City, the guys still with their stage costumes on, me dressed as Snow White (See Sonne). Memories.

Currently watching old Battlestar Galactica episodes. How funny to see how much the period at which it was filmed reflected on the clothing and decor.
Episode on Equellus featured a woman wearing clothes highly reminiscent of Laura Ashley fashion.
I'll never stop loving scifi.
