Had a wonderful surprise yesterday. A dear friend came to visit and ask me to be his stage costume maker for his upcoming musical project. An hommage to Ghost. The stage costumes are somptuous, it will be so fun to create similar models for my friend. And a great honour for me to have been chosen.
Had a weird dream last night. I had been invited to an MLP convention and I had decided to bring our youngest cat with me to present her to the crowd.
Gee-whiz. Celestia is a cutie but darn she's a handful.
In my dream she was trying to run away from the hall.
I felt the same when coming back from Berlin.

Personally, I'd love to visit the costumes department and talk to the designers! Ah, and maybe, if they don't notice me, I could sit with them and work until I become part of the decor. I'd stay there for years... :D

Started today a new 18th Century clothing project. A pair of jumps from around 1750. Made with block print cotton from India, a layer of cotton batting and a pure linen lining. It will be quilted and assembled by hand. Project might take a few months to be completed.
Thank goodness you heat your apartment with your computers!!!
The tailoring of these suits is impeccable. Especially the cap sleeves that are always mounted without any wrinkle.
