I believe it’s the Neon68k set. Not 100% sure, it’s been a long time. If you’re interested I could look tomorrow and reply with whatever disk format I’m using.

I’m using a Sharp x68000 core in RetroArch. I installed Emudeck, I launch it from within the Emulation Station front end. I don’t remember what bios/OS files were required for x68k but I found them and added them. Then I think I’m using a collection of 68k games prepped for MiSTer use.

I feel like it’s harder than ever to find cool demos in Steam Next Fest. I feel like I’m seeing a lot of AI stuff. Have you found any cool games? Wild Blue Skies, Eternal Life of Goldman and Clockwork Ambrosia are my good finds so far.

It was real. I saw it too. I saw it in a Play Choice 10 cabinet. It would let an arcade operator put up to 10 NES games in a cabinet, but of course they had to be special versions of the carts.

Zootopia 2 and Thunder Force V with the kids tonight. Great movie. The game’s pretty fun too :)

Friday night shenanigans on Evercade. I’ve never successfully gotten out of the castle in this game. Trying yet again. I probably just don’t know what I’m doing. Atic Atac is the game.

I miss having a CRT.

Wii, WiiU, 3DS, Vita, PS3, 360, Virtual Boy. Outside of those it’s MiSTer, Steam Deck, gaming PC, Quest 3, PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch 2. I feel like I can pretty much play anything. I don’t need the Xbox though.

I haven’t found a good solution for handheld emulation. For on-screen I love the Retro Fighters Brawler 64.

I had similar feelings back when Milo Yiannopoulos was a big deal. We named our oldest son Milo. And then this dickhead starts being a dickhead out in public and getting known as his first name only. Thankfully his time has passed, but it annoyed the hell out of me.

I’ve made similar rants over the last 10-15 years. But having worked at one of the major publishers, and knowing people who have worked at all of the others, there are two major obstacles in the way of this. First: it’s impossible for the execs to get out of the way. They can’t help themselves.

I don't see how any of us have any leg to stand on with regards to criticism from the outside. The only thing I've generally got to say on the subject is "I didn't vote for this, I don't support this, and any anger/fear/etc. you've got regarding the US I 100% understand." And yeah, I listen.

Nah, what’s sadder is that I’m wasting my time talking to some dumb troll on the internet rather than playing this game with my family. And what’s also sadder is that, rather than admitting you missed a detail, you’re just digging in. Get a life dude.

My original post starts with “I miss Japan Studio,” which was a PlayStation internal studio. So yeah, I was always talking about PlayStation.

I’m not. But out of PlayStation it certainly seems to be more serious and/or grim games than whimsical fun. For every Astro Bot we get three or four more serious games and a Last of Us remake. I’d like a better ratio.

I miss Japan Studio. They made so many fun and incredible games. Not everything needs to be serious and grim. I put this in front of the kids today and they’re having a blast.
