I think you're right. It's a scary thought. And I think they also want to convince us that it's all inevitable so that we roll over and give up. But it isn't inevitable. At least, it doesn't have to be.

Myths activate something very deep in our subconscious. If you want to make people behave a certain way, convince them that they are living out one of these archetypal myths. Even if a myth isn't literally true, its consequences can be.

But we have the power to write a different narrative.

It's not the Biblical End Times, but there are a lot of people who are trying very hard to convince us that it is. We need to push back against this idea, imagine a better future, and put in the work to make our communities a better place.

Presence or lack of a daily routine does not make nor unmake a Witch. Value quality over quantity!

Some of the most profound and useful routines I still keep are what I call "scaffolded" with each other. They build and support one another. Spiritual hygiene? Work it into your shower or bathing routine. I also incorporate things like soaps and beard oils as part of that.

In my opinion, the number one reason why "daily witch routines" fail is for the same reason people fail to pick up other new habits: We overwhelm ourselves with too many changes all at once. If you're used to a certain routine every day, of course it's going to feel awkward adding in a bunch of new stuff to do. You're not broken or bad for struggling to stick to a new routine right away. You're literally human; ask anyone who has tried to start going to the gym for the first time or someone who is starting a new job. It's going to be difficult, and it's going to be tempting to revert back to old habits once the novelty wears off. Be patient with yourself, and give yourself time to adjust before you throw in the towel. Start with small, sustainable, consistent changes rather than flipping your whole lifestyle upside down. Be the tortoise, not the hare.

I think Divinity is like water in the sense that it takes on the "shape" of the "container" that it fills. When we create egregores, we are creating a new "shape" for Divinity to take.

Find your malefic ruled houses (and/or houses where your malefics sit natally). Malefics = Mars and Saturn.

Find friends who have benefics ruling those houses (or in those houses) in their own nativity. Benefics = Venus and Jupiter.

Light is not inherently good; the same Sun's rays that warm our skin can also burn it, damaging our skin's DNA.

Light and Darkness transcend the concepts of good and evil.

Every few years, my spiritual beliefs shift a little. I think I'm in another "shift period" now. 😋
