The annual cost of 1 police officer in Memphis is approx. $65,000. Calling in National Guard costing taxpayers about $2,000,000/DAY. Four days of Guard could instead provide 25 additional Officers for 5 YEARS, NOT 4 days.

I live in an area with few to no undocumented immigrants, a lge # of hospitals and school districts. For decades, waits have been LONG in ER's and doctor offices. Classrooms are 25-35 students per teacher.
