Israel deports Greta Thunberg and 170 other Gaza flotilla activists The activists were detained when Israeli forces intercepted boats trying to breach its naval blockade of Gaza to deliver aid.

Most, but not all, of the people of the Sumud Flotilla, have now been "deported" by Israel. Greta T is among those "deported" to Greece.

"Super Leafleteer" Halloween costume

I'm trying to figure out how and where I (a 75-year-old man) can wear my "Super Leafleteer" costume, and hand out leaflets, during the month of October, without getting into trouble. Suggestions?

Halloween is going to be weird now that there are scary masked people on the streets all year long.

Ever since 'ACAB' and '1312' became popular in social media, I have felt that police, ICE, etc should not exist, or at least they should be disarmed. And ICE has gotten much worse since then.

If you have an emergency, call the Fire Department. They don't carry guns.

Somewhere in America, a young Hispanic girl is hiding in an attic writing a diary.

This video of Chicagoans intervening to save a man from being abducted off the streets by ICE is making the rounds on Instagram.

Perhaps Thunberg and Thiel believe strongly in very different things. For instance, Thunberg believes in saving life on Earth, and Thiel believes that ethics is determined by the market.
