I don’t wanna say rarely taught but something therapy teaches - anxiety is just your body telling you you’re in danger. You can absolutely convince it that it is safe through self care and meds. It’s treatable.

i spent most of the last two days offline and felt much better. i highly recommend that if you feel yourself spiraling you stop scrolling. there's catching up on current events and then there's taking in the stress of thousands of people at once and our bodies arent build for that.
