Two wild things I saw this morning:

A woman at the pool with a perfect scar of teeth bite marks on her butt cheek.

Someone setting up a bounce house in front of a funeral home.

I just posted a video of a turtle! It must be turtle day.

I hope to have the tenacity and courage of this turtle.

Flimsy plastic bag that is provided in hospitals for patients to store their personal things. “Patient Belonging Bag” is written in large blue letters across it.

The wording of the Patient Belonging Bag stuck me as funny as it seemed to be suggesting this bag would provide us a feeling of unconditional love and acceptance, rather than a place to shove our underwear and shoes and hope they somehow don’t touch.

Good memories get us through. This was us in Brighton back in October.

Blindingly bright sun coming through the clouds after a very rainy day.

It stormed all day today and then suddenly right before sunset, the sky cleared and the sun came out. This isn’t a metaphor, but we can pretend it is.
