Tonight, I had the pleasure of introducing the bf to the cultural watershed moments that were Samwell’s “what what in the butt” and Kelly’s “shoes”
Just blazed though Jim Butcher’s latest Dresden Files book, “Twelve Months”! Thematically similar to “Ghost Story” — a slower paced introspective book with some lovely lines regarding grieving and moving on. Some plot quibbles but nothing derailing. Already can’t wait for “Mirror Mirror”!
My party was asked to steal an statue and some treasure, and in doing so, incited an worker’s revolution, released circus animals, and jumped off an waterfall. Viva la revolution!
Just finished DM’ing an 7 hours session where my party had to figure out how to pull off an casino heist! Brain is FIRED.

I read something about Wiseman wanting a smaller role after dealing with online bullying she faced on Discovery. If that’s true that’s an understandable reason but major bummer for the rest of us.
Debate with a friend: does Starfleet Academy take place after Discovery, or in the middle of Discovery before Tilly is asked to teach? This whole time, I thought SFA happened after Discovery S5.
Two observations from watching StarFleet Academy:
(1) So happy Reno has a bigger role. It’s giving DS9 Miles O’Brien vibes.
(2) Where is Tilly? Her whole character arc in Discovery was about how she was happiest as a teacher. One would think she would be an Academy instructor.

But as a New Englander, watching them talk about the MHL, Montreal Metros, and Boston Raiders hurt my soul and nearly took me out of the show.
I’m also hoping for an romance between him and Daren. That private moment between them was.. electric.
If you got regenades, they give you 300 power armor right at the beginning.
And lawless frontier throws you so much T5 armor and weapons so it’s easy to get to max level
It’s on my list of games to play! Still working on Hades 2 and Destiny 2 here… have fun!
Western Xposure has been on my bucket list for a while! Just haven’t had things lined up yet.

What have you enjoyed so far? So far I’m liking the skull, staff, and sickle. I’m really enjoying scorch and hitch though Zeus is still a powerhouse. I still have trouble incorporating cast into my flow though

I just started that game the other day! I keep dying at the first boss so I put it on pause too lol.
I always say I need to use vacation time to map out my career. In my mind, doing a staycation for this reason feels like a waste of PTO, and if I travel, I know I won’t set aside time for career. Mad props to you for having the willpower to work on your career goals!
My generation? Asian Kung-Fu.
S2 is probably the best season overall, although I did enjoy S3 - S5. It ended generally well enough.
