I love how everything is garbage now. I bought a pair of $25 Sony headphones in the early 2000s that lasted at least a decade. Now if I spend $200 on a pair of allegedly much better headphones I can look forward to buying $30 replacement earpads every few years when the fake leather rips apart.

Post from hickorynut94. the problem with chronic illness is that no matter how badly you need or want a break, there is no way for you to get one. You can't take a vacation and leave it behind like a stressful job or annoying family. You carry it with you and have to accommodate it every day for the rest of your life. And it's so debilitating and exhausting knowing that you will never, ever get a break from it.
