Today I visited Tottori Sand dunes.
The afternoon was spent harvesting rice with Naoki-San at his farm with members of the disabled community, in Maizuru, Kyoto Prefecture. Once rice is dried they with make a meal in the future.
Yesterday in Sezaki I wandered along the blustery beach to watch the Sea of Japan’s waves crashing against the breakers.

This late afternoon walk around Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture, seeing the only cat around. Beautiful Kimonos, paintings, before the sky darkens with rain & crows nesting for the night. The crows are my alarm clock at 5 am each morning.
Sculptures are all over Kofu, even the 16th Century General Takeda sits outside the JR Kofu Station. Locals gather on Sunday to hear live music or are just traveling.
