A judge in Maryland issued a temporary restraining order halting construction work on an immigration detention center that the DHS had planned to begin operating next month, citing concerns about the facility’s potential environmental impacts.

There have been about 15 minutes of laying down the rules, discussing conflicts and whether or not panelists are granted waivers. Such a breath of fresh air in comparison to ACIP meetings.
