The question really is, is to what extent there actual recovery? Covid causes damage. Not just to the sense of smell.

Why has an intelligent and articulate woman wearing a mask and speaking at the UN provoked an aggressive response from some media outlets?

Because her mask and her words have profoundly perturbed people at a deeply subconscious level. The nature of that perturbation is fear.

We agree that this information needs to be made known through health departments. Cancer survivors already know to avoid other types of infection if they can.

It's not welcome information but it's important that people are informed so that they can make choices about protection. There are ways to reduce exposure to pathogens. This is why we are campaigning for clean air and safer gatherings. @greenparty.org.uk @zackpolanski.bsky.social

Yesterday, history happened at the UN: For the first time hundreds of orgs signed a global pledge declaring that healthy indoor air is a human right.

Healthy indoor air is a key tool for preventing pandemics, building climate resilience, and increasing health equity. We need it everywhere!
