Dammit. I've returned to my second script and it turns out what it's been missing is I've not been adequately mean to my protagonist.

Doing a bit of a rewrite of an old script - always amazing to see how much my writing style has changed in a few years.

And, predictably, now it looks like it's a top to bottom rewrite because I love the premise, but damn there's a lot that can be improved!
