06.10.2025 21:23 β π 246 π 38 π¬ 1 π 1β¦IF they extend the deadline past October 31, how delayed will the window be.
In 2020, it started on Jan 28 and they couldnβt sign until Feb 10 because of the CBA negotiations pushing past the deadline.
I only wonder because there are SO many free agents this offseason in comparison.
Great question. With the current CBA not yet expired, teams have to follow its current established rules, which say that teams can start talking to free agents in mid Jan, but the agents canβt sign until February. GMs can also begin building trades in that time.

30.09.2025 23:20 β π 49 π 11 π¬ 1 π 0Update: Al Horford has a second-year player option in his two-year, $12 million deal with the Golden State Warriors, league sources told @hoopshypeofficial.bsky.social. Horford is expected to start at center and is eager to compete for another championship. Deal negotiated by agent Jason Glushon.
30.09.2025 23:37 β π 39 π 6 π¬ 1 π 5The WNBPA has issued a statement re: Napheesa Collier's comments.
"The leaders of the league and its teams would benefit from listening to her powerful statement. The players know their value even if the league does not."
But did she lie, Cathy? Did she lie?
THAT is the real question this statement should have addressed.
Incredibly brave of Napheesa Collier to call out the flaws she sees in the Wβs leadership in this way. She established herself as one of the most powerful voices and leaders in the league with Unrivaled and this is further proof of her willingness to publicly demand better.

www.nytimes.com/athletic/667... Napheesa Collier calls out WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert: βWorst leadership in the worldβ
Its fascinating how leadership forgets the recent past. In 2020, the Atlanta Dream publicly shamed a member of their ownership team (Kelly Loeffler) and endorsed Raphael Warnock for Senator. They were influential in her losing that race, which resulted in her selling her ownership stake #WNBA

30.09.2025 03:40 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Update on this thread: GP2 signed today.
"Why was GP2 able to sign before the Kuminga 10/1 deadline, but Melton & Horford werenβt?"
Instead of signing a larger deal, GP2 signed a vet minimum deal (~$3.6M), which lets teams add vets w/o using cap space or impacting other deals.
I'm incredibly happy that the Dolphins won in those uniforms. They are beautiful.
30.09.2025 02:18 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Nothing I posted is in contradiction to this.
I posted my thread a day ago (9/28), when GP2 had agreed to a deal and as of this morning (9/29), he officially signed (with the terms still private, per team policy). Horford and Melton have both committed, but haven't signed because of this JK limbo.
Phoenix was the big engine that could all season long. You couldnβt call them βlittleβ bc they had big-time talent, but no one knew how it would mesh.
They didnβt have Copper until a month in, Bonner until mid-season, a ton of W rookiesβ¦

BREAKING: Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show at Super Bowl LX.
29.09.2025 01:59 β π 677 π 88 π¬ 55 π 155Ultimately, JKβs decision will impact the Warriorsβ roster significantly and potentially the trajectory of their season.
It puts a young talentβs belief in himself and his future at odds with a franchiseβs closing window on a generational talent and preparing for its future.
Stay tuned!
6οΈβ£Thereβs also the minuscule chance of a sign-and-trade, as Sac had shown interest, but this is likely off the table as the Dubs donβt want long-term salaries in return, which is what was offered (e.g., Malik Monk).

(Warriors donβt love that either.)
4οΈβ£ Take the Qualifying Offer (QO): 1 yr, $7.9M, which makes JK an unrestricted free agent next summer (JK would be taking a big bet on himself; Warriors donβt want to lose a talent like him for nothing, so they donβt love that option.)
Itβd also have a no-trade clause.
The QO goes away after Oct. 1
