There's a delay in there to keep the animation nice and smooth. The program takes about 10s without the delay. If I remove the map entirely, it takes less than a second.

I just completed "Plutonian Pebbles" - Day 11 - Advent of Code 2024. This was one where the part 2 was deceptively difficult. It would have worked if I had a computer with lots and lots of RAM.
