I am frequently accused of being a hopeless optimist.

But as I see the US heading faster and faster to a full dictatorship, despite the admirable efforts of citizens and politicians fighting back, I honestly am questioning my optimism… this saddens me greatly.

Because due process has not run its course.

When the states vote and decide the same, then there’s something to talk about.. Till then he should focus on the mess he created at the Federal level and keep his nose out of state legislation where he has no say.

I don’t know why one doesn’t challenge Leavitt and ask “Is it Mr Trumps intent to tell jokes or make comments on serious matters for you to then later clarify his message or do Americans deserve timely message clarity from the Commander in Chief“

If one decides they no longer have a voice, they relinquish power. Protests, and pressing your congressmen (who represent citizens) have historically been proven effective. From the Boston Tea party to Vietnam, Civil Rights, stonewall, March on Washington and BLM. Protests and action work.

Appreciate your comment.. please know most Americans are not sitting on their ass in the US. National guard and ICE did not retreat because they were tired, they did so because Americans fought back. They did on this and they are on every other attack Trump is making on democracy.
