I gave it a quick try by stabilising the video (DaVinci Resolve) and averaging the frames (imagemagick) – not quite readable, but feels pretty close for such a basic approach 😄

if you're testing a random number generator for a uniform distribution and see too many 7s, don't worry! 7 is the most random number so this is to be expected if it's doing its job properly :)

was thinking about the same thing yesterday - I used to use useQuery's onSuccess with form.setValue which didn't feel toooo bad

but onSuccess is being deprecated for similar reasons to why useEffect is bad, so (ironically) I've switched to useEffect

not a biologist, but since it's on Java you could sandbox it to a new JVM instance to be safe

you can get far with an Intel Pentium with the added benefit of learning patience

even more beautiful than my Inspiron! 😅 I've never had the pleasure of using a ZX Spectrum and tbh I'd have no idea where to start
