So here I am, a techie Luddite. I was able to listen to the book on my computer but on my phone, I can’t find it. I purchased it at a price that should have been higher,(authors deserve it) but can’t find where it is kept in my Amazon account. I’ll keep searching.

Usually food is more expensive in Canada, but that is ridiculous. I was in the hometown for July and it was nothing like that. With the exchange rate food in Canada is significantly cheaper. Tho it is definitely rising. Coffee is going through the roof.

I just started listening to the introduction. I LOVE what I'm hearing, you're telling it like it is and as it was. As an oldie who lived through quite a bit of post WWII I can relate in real time to what went on, tho as a youngster I didn't quite get it until much later.

I remember protesting against Vietnam in the 60's when Nixon and his party secretly vowed to never let that and equal rights happen again.

Awareness of truth is not the answer. Awareness that your fear response is illogical(depending on the factors) and you have to get it down to where your emotions don't control the response is critical. And really difficult. Our primitive brains dominates us in many ways, programed to keep us alive.

Truth only works when it's accepted. We've seen since the beginning of recorded human history how adverse humans are to truth when they don't like what it tells. We are delusional animals in that respect. Truth stimulates the fear emotion which in turn triggers denial to mitigate the fear we feel.
