True - but i think it's more the poor coaching at the B team level and also lack of a clear pathway to the first team.
I spoke to an uncle of a guy with the reserves who bailed out in recent years (no names) and is now doing fine. Quite scathing of some of our developmetn setup.

Our club has not too much to write home about either.. we've had some brilliant successes (e.g. Matt O'Riley) but the list of youth players just bailing out on the club in recent years shows too much is wrong in the coaching structure.

So much mismanagement. There's been some recent revisionism by some on Kevin Kelly and Tom Grant, but as far as I'm concerned they were equally incompetent as the rest.

actually, i stand correct, the board used to deflate NOT inflate the figures back in the old days.... Now it seems they want to always inflate the figures.
