The BAFTA 2025 nominations are out! There's some good choices in the mix, and a few I don't agree with. These are my initial reactions:

I am shocked that The Substance isn't up for Best Film, but relieved to see it up for Director, Original Screenplay, and Lead Actress (come on, Demi!).

I wake up in the morning. I sit at my computer. The internet screams at me that the world is on fire. I am overwhelmed by the deluge of bad news and faceplant in front of the computer.
