ONE HUNDRED TRILLION AURA POINTS
06.09.2025 19:49 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Pulp at Tramlines was a mesmeric treasure.
All fans love Pulp, but Sheffielders and S/N Derbs locals have a unique understanding & insight. The affection has deep roots. It means More.
The long-awaited debut of 'Last Day of the Miners Strike', with Hawley in tow, was perfectly judged.
A delight.
A TRIUMPHANT 60th birthday to the one and only Mr Nick Banks !!!!!
The keeper of the beat. The best in the game. Blessed are the piss takers indeed, raise a pint in his honour! Many happy returns!
It's so strong!!

06.06.2025 14:10 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0I keep forgetting to also post here β I'm mainly still on The Bad Place, for my sins β but my god, is More good??? It absolutely blew my socks off.
Tina, Grown Ups, Slow Jam, Got to Have Love, The Hymn of the North β all immediate classics that rival ANYTHING Pulp's ever made before. #MorePulp
The verdict is in: More might be Pulp's most accomplished album yet. It's that good.
06.06.2025 19:21 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0On the eve of Pulpβs summer tour Iβm excited to share this brand new interview with Candida Doyle.
We talked about Candidaβs role in the new Pulp album and how this tour will be Pulpβs biggest and most ambitious yet.

I can only assume that Cuckoo Song didn't make it onto We Love Life because it was too personal? (Or considered too similar to Bad Cover Version?)
Some frankly astonishing lyrics and a Sondheim melody. It would've been one of the highlights of the album. Just astonishing
It's 31 years since Pulp released His 'N' Hers! It was their breakthrough album β and some, myself included, would call it their best.
What's your favourite track from the record? (Mine is 'Lipgloss', but I do also have a soft spot for 'David's Last Summer'...)
Happy Birthday His 'N' Hers. π€
Bought you on cassette the day you came out and took you everywhere I went.
A few years later I gave you to a girl and replaced you on CD.
Thatβs my story and (probably) my favourite Pulp album .
Spike Island β Pulp's first new single since 2013 β is now available on streaming services! And it sounds amazing!!!!!
10.04.2025 14:15 β π 9 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Welcome back Pulp!

10.04.2025 14:12 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So there we have it. The news hath broke. @welovepulp are to release a new LP in June.
I do hope you are excited. I, for one, am.
In fact, 'Grown Ups' dates back all the way to the This Is Hardcore sessions!
09.04.2025 16:57 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The album artwork and tracklisting have also appeared on Pulp's Rough Trade Records website!
Courtesy of Will Newlands.
All the 'new' songs are included, plus 'Grown Ups' - revived from 2013 - and 'Slow Jam', a Jarv Is track. And there are two more too!
Pulp's first album since 2001 may be upon us! From Safeway to Tesco, we're up to the gunnels with excitement. All eyes turn, this Saturday, to The Jonathan Ross Show β appropriately, where the band last appeared on telly, back in 2013. All this waiting β have we finally made it?
07.04.2025 17:46 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A press release briefly appeared on Pulp's website earlier today seemingly confirming a new album is coming, that it's entitled 'More', and that it contains β among other things β some older material as well as backing vocals from "the Eno family".
"No AI was involved during the process."
My deep dive through my blog has resurfaced some gems
14.03.2025 17:44 β π 12 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Today, two years since we all lost Steve.
Rest in peace.
Much missed π€
02.03.2025 15:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Exciting !!
22.02.2025 01:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Well, funny you should say that. I start recording it Monday.
Finally.
Whenβs it out you say ..?
No idea.
Hope everyone got the tickets they desired! I'm going to Glasgow on the 7th and London on the 14th.
If you didn't manage it β don't despair, there's still Friday's general sale to come...
The next issue of @adamlaforet.bsky.social's "Hardcore" fanzine is out now! hardcorezine.com/hardcore/eng...
19.02.2025 21:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Stopped by the βFor Your Pleasureβ exhibition at Liverpoolβs Open Eye Gallery to admire these Donald Milne portraits. I canβt tell whether I admire Jarvisβ pose, his shirt fabric or the carpet pattern the most. Theyβre on display until 9 March.
19.02.2025 19:56 β π 11 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0As for myself - see you at Glasgow and at London Night 2!
18.02.2025 14:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hello my loves.

Sad to hear of the passing of Marianne Faithfull at 78. A legend of British pop: here's her collaboration with Jarvis Cocker, give it a listen!
