Whitewater guides deserve mad respect though. Dudes can literally read a river by looking at water hydraulics and know how to properly enter and navigate through those routes safely. Additionally, they also have to be able to pull your ass back into the boat and save you if you fall out.

My shoulders are fucking shredded from all the intense paddling and the sunburn on my legs is absolutely insane, but I literally cannot wait till our next rafting trip...

Some of my favorite shots from yesterday's adventure with the Hare and his parents. Rafted 13 miles of the Arkansas River through the beautiful Browns Canyon yesterday and had an incredible time. There were a couple of close calls with Mama & Papa Hare, but fortunately no one went swimming! 😂

However, my legs are absolutely BURNT TO A ROASTY CRISP because high altitude sun sucks. I also decided at the last minute not to wear a full wetsuit (ultimately a wise decision if only for temperature control), and forgot to apply sunscreen to my newly bare legs. I have crab legs 🦀

Survived our 13 mile adventure down the Arkansas River in class 3 rapids! I had so much fun and already want to go back and do a class 4 trip 💦

From this morning. Some tea and mountain views before hitting the rapids!

Working on my development plan with my GM today and feeling so excited about the future. He identified some areas that I show a lot of strength, and others that I could benefit to learn a little more about. So nice to be in a position with a very clear direction on how to move forward 👍🏼
