I like you Elliot, but the disrespect for Madueke is not a great look. Cracking a string of jokes at the expense of a guy that looks to be on his way to the club feels nasty rather than funny. You have a pretty big reach across the fan base and it just feeds negativity.

Absolutely. He's an absolute gift. Unshakeable and brilliant.

11 - Arsenal registered 11 shots on target in this match; the joint-most on record (since 2003-04) by a team in a UEFA Champions League knockout stage game against Real Madrid (also 11 by Liverpool in March 2009). Onslaught.

Love this from you, Tim. Seeing it after the Real Madrid demolition just sweetens it further.

Was Jude Bellingham even playing? Just a glorious night all round.

Did that YouTube money buy you a home cinema? 😁 WHAT. A. NIGHT.

Just so proud of them tonight. What a pleasure that was. And a privilege.

What a proud night for the Arsenal. Superb to a man. It was a privilege to watch that performance. #ARSRMA

2 - Declan Rice is the first player to score two direct free kick goals in a knockout stage match in the UEFA Champions League. Precision.

I would understand being blocked if I had been abusive or unreasonable, but it just seems weird to block anyone who disagrees with you about football.

Blocked too for agreeing with Andrew that it was a run of the mill trip by MLS. Odd behaviour from Glendenning.

The kind of trip that's been the stock-in-trade of certain Man City midfielders for some time. That kind of cynical, counter-attack-ending foul has been so common that it's fair to call it run of the mill at this point.

Ooooooooooooooo

Gary, it was a trip

I think I might cry. This is too much. What a hit. What a performance. What a humbling for City.

Neville calls it "a little bit of frustration"

I'm not sure it was meant to be 'clever' and I don't think it has any bearing on that goal.

See when you say that (the last bit) I very much agree. Yet when Gary Neville says something similar, it's so so aggravating.

It's going to be a largely unenjoyable ride after the break, but we can do this.

Extraordinary levels of creativity have gone into dragging the #ChampionsLeague draw out as much as humanly possible. Remarkable.

I think you're bang on about the "utter bastard" thing, Tim. They've completely lost sight of what it means to exclude a player from the rest of the game, not to mention future games. Innocuous fouls and petty trivialities shouldn't be turning games on their heads.

Michael Oliver has made me irritable, but can we please get rid of those horrendous double advertising boards they use at Wolves and City.

It wasn't a red card offence. And I'm not rising to the other comment.

An offence routinely punished with a yellow card

Alternatively, it could just be that Tottenham get battered everywhere they go. Who's to say?

You know it's a Fowlkes joint when the piece ends with a Kurt Vonnegut reference.
