yeeah, it's a lot of surface. I tested it out with a second account and even after making the contact receivers bigger I feel like it could use at least another 3 or so squish points to work well.
Upper one works well enough though!

I think bellytech sells avatars with stuff like this pre-installed! But it's not too difficult to DIY it. It's just a series of squish blendshapes driven by vrc contact receivers placed along the surface

Need more squish! At least a bit more on the lower belly, it's a bit too sparse to work well

I think that's one that did it with contacts, yeah! I've also seen it done with physbones placed all around the surface, which is how I wanted to do it originally. But managing all the extra weight painting would have been miserable
